duh, the writer

Amanda Milliken is a Northwest Ohio resident who holds a degree in something wholly unrelated to writing. She spends her days keeping her office chair from floating away and her nights trying to immerse herself in creative things, be it writing, reading a great (or mediocre) book, or listening to live music -  sometimes all three at once! Like most self-proclaimed writers, she’s working on a full length novel and hopes that someone, somewhere, will someday like it as much as she does.

 

I write..a lot. I love a good cup of coffee, a great book, & a wonderful conversation. I can't take a good picture of myself to save my life, but I keep trying.

 

I was born in New York (state, not city) & moved to Ohio when I was 5.

 

I love to travel, but haven't been anywhere epic in a while - it's almost time to remedy that.

 

I can spin words..example:

 

me: I want to BUY things! I have 3 things I  want really badly.

jake: anything u need? or just want

me: I need them so the ache I have goes away

jake: hahah nice way to spin that

me: Thank you. I thought that was pretty clever.
